Refining

The Old School Refinery works with a startup that has all the basics down and is ready to go to the next level. 

We spend in-person time with a startup team (the CEO and leadership) every quarter for one year to create a tight execution plan.

$25,000 per year + travel expenses

Quarterly Offsite in CT

Immersive 3-day offsite:

  • Audit of org and teams

  • Financial deep dive

  • Branding deep dive

  • GTM deep dive with lead tracking/metrics

  • QBR process definition/strategy

  • Creation of goal setting system + tracking 

Financial Literacy Course

We offer a self-guided financial literacy class that can be taken by any core team member.

Regular Check-Ins

Weekly CEO mentoring.

Monthly check-ins with your Leadership Team to review progress from each offsite and provide additional guidance and mentorship.

Highway Night Light

Accelerating

A 12-month program focused on startups that need to go from a a minimum viable product (MVP) past product market fit (PMF).  Cohorts are groups with up to 15 companies for each program. 

$10,000 per year + travel expenses

Our 2024 cohort starts in June

Two, One-Week Immersion Sessions

Participants in the Accelerate program meet for one week at the beginning of the program with an on-site follow up session in month four concentrating on:

  • Pitching

  • Financial literacy basics

  • Branding and pitch decks

  • Accountability and metrics

  • Fundraising

  • Strategic planning

Content and Programming

We require attending our Financial Literacy Class and schedule regular sessions alongside self-guided content on the basics of growing your startup.

Monthly Meetings

Every month we host a 1 hour check in session with the cohort to provide guidance and mentorship.

Every month we meet with your Leadership Team to review progress from each offsite and provide additional guidance and mentorship.
